Bathroom Plumbing Repairs and Installations
Having properly functioning bathroom plumbing is one of the most important things for the well being and comfort of you and your family. Leaky faucets and running toilets can send your utility bills through the roof. A faulty shower valve can cause low water pressure or scalding due to the improper mix of hot and cold water. Backed up and overflowing toilets can ruin more than just your day. A leaking shower pan can cause severe damage to the home. Mold growth, and damage to flooring and cabinetry can be costly. Furthermore, mold can pose a threat to the health of your family.

Bathroom Plumbing – Tub & Shower Valve Replacement
A Brandon, FL plumbing customer wanted to replace the old, leaking shower valve with this brushed nickel, single handle Delta valve and spout. High quality shower valves should have a service life of 15 to 20 years. Regular maintenance of the cartridges is required. Frequency of maintenance is based on water quality and usage rates.
Bathroom Plumbing – Toilet Install
A St. Petersburg plumbing customer’s toilet was leaking around the base of the toilet and the flush valve was running intermittently. Rather than rebuild the insides of the tank, pull the toilet, install a new wax ring, and reset, the customer decided to install a brand new one. As a result, here is a Gerber 1.6 GPF (gallons per flush), ADA compliant toilet, with an elongated bowl.
Bathroom Plumbing – Closet Flange Repair
Below is a before and after picture of a closet flange repair for a Tampa plumbing customer. The customer called complaining of a rocking toilet and occasional leakage around the base of the toilet. When our Tampa plumber arrived, he removed the toilet to find a highly degraded closet flange. Due to the poor condition he cut out the old metal flange and thoroughly cleaned the area. He then installed a long lasting PVC closet flange and fastened it down in the concrete slab with tap-con screws.
Bathroom Plumbing – Bathroom Faucets and Sinks
Maybe the easiest way to update the look and feel of your bathroom is to replace the sink or faucet with a more modern design. Vessel sinks have become very popular and come in many styles and colors. A waterfall style faucet is also a nice addition to a vessel sink and can add a sleek look to your bathroom. Consequently, small and inexpensive upgrades to your bathroom plumbing can go a long way to changing the overall look and feel of your bathroom.
Bathroom Plumbing – Shower Pan Replacement
Prior to repair, this shower pan was leaking due to improper installation. Our Tampa plumbers jack hammered the floor and tile. Then properly installed the new shower pan to meet current codes. Finally, the concrete was re-floated in preparation for the tile work to be completed. A leaking shower pan can cause damage to walls, flooring, and furniture. Be sure to always hire a licensed plumber that will obtain the proper permitting and inspections to insure your shower pan will never leak.
